New roof to facility

Kestrel Interiors Limited undertook a major refurbishment of two warehouse facilities at the Kerax site in Chorley. This involved the replacement of approximately 1500 square metres of single skin roof with a double skin, insulated roof covering. In addition, solar panels were installed which are estimated to produce 156 MW hours of renewable energy per year, more than meeting the needs of the whole site.

The Works were undertaken whilst wax production was on-going, no manufacturing production days were lost during the course of the works.
