Eleanor House, Rathbone Hospital, Liverpool

The Rathbone Hospital site in the Old Swan area of Liverpool provides mental health rehabilitation for men with severe and enduring mental health problems who are preparing to return to life in the community.

Eleanor House is one of the existing buildings within the Rathbone Hospital complex and in recent years this building has suffered from damp problems. Kestrel Interiors Limited assisted by Peter Cox Ltd undertook damp renovation works to the basement and also carried out an extensive programme of brickwork remedial works and structural repairs.

All works were undertaken during normal working hours, care being taken not to impinge on the day to day activities of the hospital.
